Brief Introduction

The department of Commerce enjoys distinct and prestigious position in academic circles of this region. Since its introduction in the year 1973, the department has never looked back and has proudly grown to achieve this present stature. Producing toppers, gold medalists and capturing top positions in the university merit list has been a regular common feature of this department. The allumni of this department are prondly placed on various coveted positions in the corporate world.

Academic achievements in recent years

1. Dheeraj Kumar captured 1^st position in K.U.K. in all the three years of his B.Com. course during session2008-09 to 2010-11.
2. Our six students were placed in K.U.K. merit list of B.Com. 1^st exam in the year 2010-11.
3. Minaxi Mittal topped the K.U.K. merit list in B.Com. 2^nd sem. Exam in the year 2011-12.
4. Other merit holders in B.Com. 2^nd sem. Exam 2011-12.
