Brief Introduction

The Department of Home Science at Manohar Memorial College offers Home Science as an elective subject at Under-graduate Level. The course enables the students to understand and apply fundamentals of nutrition and health at the family level and make them aware of the various nutrition and health related problems in the community. It enhances their skills as community health workers/nutrition educators. Developing and Sharpening creative skills and instincts of students is and should be the part of total exercise of imparting quality education. To give vent to their creative, innovative feelings, ideas and thoughts, one year Diploma in Fashion Designing and an Add-on course are successfully running by this department. One stat of the art Home Science laboratory and one crafty and stylish Fashion Designing workshop-cum-laboratory are provided for this department. The faculty consists of dedicated and experienced teachers.

Art and craft Exhibitions are the regular features of annual calendar of the Department of Home Science which gives students of this department an opportunity to exhibit their talent.

Fashion Designing Department

The Department of Fashion Designing has fulfill with all kind of mordern facilities, under the CDLU university deparment have one year diploma in fashion Designing and ADD-ON course also.Fashion Designing Lab have Computerised in embroidery and Stiching machines. The Deparment annualy organises Exhibitions, Workshoaps, Comptitions, Diwali Exhibitions, Art And Craft Exhibition, Jewellery Exhibition etc. Students Take part in Fashion Show and Make their different kind of Dresses.Students of FD fully enjoyed in Educatinal Tours also.The Department Under the Guidence of Mrs. Rohita Bishnoi is runing very successfully.
