Brief Introduction

The Department of Music (Vocal) was also established in the College from the last two/three years. It offers Music (Vocal) as an elective subject at Under-graduate Level. The course familiarizes the students with the fundamentals of various ragas, history of music and life-sketches of great musicians and musicologists. It helps them to develop their potential in music and opens up channels for entry into Post Graduation, M.Phil, Ph.D. in Music and teaching career later on.

Academic / Extracurricular Activities

The Department of Music organises Seminars, Extension Lecturers and other cultural Programmes at the college level every year to enhance academic and literary interest of the students.
