This seminar focuses on the life, philosophy, and literary contribution of Prof. Puran Singh, a great Punjabi poet, thinker, scientist, and spiritual writer. He was born in 1881 in Punjab and is remembered as one of the most influential modern Punjabi writers. Prof. Puran Singh combined spirituality with humanism in his writings. He was deeply inspired by Sikh philosophy and the teachings of the Sikh Gurus. His poetry reflects love for humanity, nature, simplicity, and divine beauty. His famous works include Khule Maidan, Khule Asmani Rang, and several essays on spirituality and culture. Apart from being a poet, he was also a scientist and worked in Japan for higher studies in chemistry. His personality was a unique blend of science and spirituality.
