The Department of Physical Education at Manohar Memorial College, Fatehabad, successfully organized its Annual Athletic Meet on February 19, 2026. Held at the College Sports Ground, the event aimed to promote physical fitness, competitive spirit, and holistic development among the student body. Key Highlights The meet commenced at 9:30 a.m. with a high level of enthusiasm from participants and spectators alike. The day featured a comprehensive schedule of track and field events, categorized for both men and women: Track Events: Sprinting events (100m, 200m, 400m), long-distance endurance races (1500m, 5000m), and team-based 4x100m Relay Races. Field Events: High-intensity competitions in Long Jump and Shot Put. Execution and Leadership The event was meticulously coordinated by Assistant Professors Jitender Kumar and Sagar, under the expert supervision of Dr. Ram Gopal (HOD, Physical Education). The presence and guidance of Principal Dr. Gurcharan Dass ensured the meet adhered to the highest standards of sportsmanship and institutional discipline. Recognition of Excellence To conclude the event, an award ceremony was held to celebrate the achievements of the student-athletes. Winners were honored with Official Certificates and Awards from the college, acknowledging their dedication to athletic excellence
