The B.Sc. Final Year students of M.M. College attended a one-day Capacity Building Workshop organized by the Department of Biotechnology at , Sirsa, on 23 February 2026. The students were accompanied by Ms. Manju and Mr. Mukul (Assistant Professor). The workshop aimed to enhance scientific knowledge, practical skills, and career awareness in the field of biotechnology. The program began with registration followed by an introductory session. Students were divided into groups and provided hands-on exposure in various laboratories including Microbiology Lab, Molecular Biology Lab, Plant Biotechnology Lab, Animal Biotechnology Lab, and the Central Instrumentation Lab. During the lab visits, students observed modern equipment, experimental techniques, and research procedures. Faculty members and research scholars demonstrated laboratory practices and explained the practical applications of biotechnology in research and industry. The workshop also included interactive sessions with experts, where students gained valuable guidance regarding higher education opportunities and career prospects in life sciences. The program concluded with certificate distribution. Overall, the workshop was highly informative, practical, and beneficial for enhancing students’ academic knowledge and professional skills.
